Nicola Mining Commences High-Grade Gold and Silver Ore Processing at Merritt Mill Facility

Nicola Mining Inc. has initiated the processing of high-grade gold and silver ore at its Merritt Mill facility, a development that signals the company's transition into a steady producer within the precious metals sector. The Merritt Mill possesses the capacity to process 60,000 tons of ore and produce 21,000 ounces of gold-equivalent concentrate annually at full production, establishing it as a cornerstone of Nicola's operations that will provide reliable revenue while supporting the company's copper, gold, and silver projects throughout British Columbia.

Peter Espig, CEO of Nicola Mining, emphasized the significance of this milestone, noting the rarity of junior mining companies achieving such production levels. Espig also highlighted improved efficiencies in British Columbia's permitting process for underground mining operations, which are recognized for their minimal environmental impact.
