Alsco Uniforms has acquired Topper Linen in a strategic move that significantly expands its operational footprint in the Greater Toronto Area. This acquisition strengthens Alsco's service capabilities and underscores its commitment to maintaining long-standing relationships and trust within the community, as emphasized by Bob Steiner, CEO of Alsco Uniforms. The rebranding of Topper's Toronto facility and fleet under the Alsco Uniforms name over the coming months will not disrupt current operations or the employment of Topper's staff.
This strategic decision ensures service continuity and leverages local expertise, a factor deemed vital by Alsco's leadership. The addition of Topper's facility brings Alsco's total to two laundry facilities in Toronto, enhancing its ability to serve a diverse range of businesses across industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and food and beverage sectors. Jim Kearns, Alsco's chief operating officer, highlighted the acquisition as a cornerstone for future growth in the Toronto area, with plans to further invest in sales and service teams across North America.
With over 80 mixed-processing facilities in North America, Alsco Uniforms continues to solidify its position as a leading provider of hygienically clean uniforms, linens, and other essential business supplies. The acquisition represents a significant expansion of Alsco's operational capacity in one of Canada's most important economic regions, positioning the company for continued growth and market leadership in the uniform and linen services industry.
