Northstar Gold Corp Advances Exploration with Electromagnetic Surveys at Miller Copper-Gold Property

Northstar Gold Corp has initiated borehole electromagnetic and surface electromagnetic surveys at the Cam Copper Mine area within the Miller Copper-Gold Property in Ontario. The company is conducting Crone Pulse-EM surveys across a 900-metre strike length to delineate potential extensions of the Cam Copper VMS horizon and identify conductors that could indicate thicker accumulations of copper-rich massive sulfides. According to CEO Brian Fowler, these surveys represent a strategic approach to understanding the geological characteristics of this historically significant site, which previously operated as a road-accessible shaft mine and small-scale producer of high-grade direct shipping copper ore.

The exploration methodology employs Pulse-EM technology that previously contributed to significant discoveries, including Hudbay Minerals Lalor VMS deposit discovery in Manitoba in 2003. This proven technology allows Northstar Gold Corp to systematically evaluate the property's potential while minimizing exploration risk. The company will also conduct borehole BHEM surveys on the four Cam Copper diamond drill holes completed earlier this year, providing three-dimensional data about subsurface conductors and potential mineralization.

The Miller Copper-Gold Property lies within the historic Boston Creek Copper Trend, an area known for its mineral potential. The current survey work represents a significant advancement in Northstar Gold Corp's exploration program, building upon previous geological mapping, sampling, and drilling activities. The data collected from these electromagnetic surveys will be integrated with existing geological information to create comprehensive models of the subsurface geology and identify priority targets for future drilling campaigns.
